What

The Arizona Middle School Science Bowl is an academic competition open to middle school students in the State of Arizona. It is sanctioned by the Department of Energy’s National Science Bowl® for Middle School Students and is regionally organized yearly by members of the Arizona Technology Council’s Workforce Development Committee and other local community leaders. The (regional) Arizona Middle School Science Bowl consists of several question and answer matches in a Round Robin and Double Elimination tournament. Winners of this regional event advance to the National Science Bowl® Competition in Washington, D.C.

Team Registration is from 8:30 – 9:00 AM
Volunteer Check-in Time is 8:00 AM
Opening Program begins at 9:00 AM

Who Can Participate

Any team of middle school students (grades 6-8) headed by at least one coach and include four team members (It is recommended that there is one alternate on each team). Registration for the 2012 event is open.

The local Arizona Middle School Science Bowl event is open and free forthe public to spectate. Join in on the fun at the Middle School Science Bowl!
